Who?
Bruce Dickson, Ronan, Ben, Mike Martin and Andrew Och to name
but a few.
Where?
The server is located at Global Switch 1.
The club meets are mainly at weekends at Bruce's house. Email us for info.
What?
The Milk Shake Organisation is a loose fraternity of students of all ages who wish to learn more
about free software, open source movements and computing. In particular
GNU/Linux and the ethos of the GPL. It is however open to
anyone who wishes to attend meets or have an account on the
server, as well as for charitable non-profit websites and more recently pre-profit businesses.
How?
The domain shake.org is kindly sponsored and hugely helped by the
Positive Internet Company. The server hardware specs
follow, bought by Andrew Och. The secure facilities and
connectivity were provided by Neil Levine
and Claranet.
The club venue is Bruce Dickson's
garage. The system administrators are Ben, Ronan and Mike Martin.
Current admin emails to Mike Martin please.
